Local Beries!!

Now available in this retarded country!!
I was doing quick shopping today, just to buy some strawberries for my Strawberry Cheesecake, when I saw these plastic boxes of blackberries and raspberries, just next to the strawberries. The label said “Local Raspberry” and “Local Blackberry“.

What???

The price tag is 15 and 19 thousand Rupiahs. This is so cool!
I mean, I’ve been wanting to use blackberries and raspberries in my recipes, but their rarity and prices got in my way. Hmm… now I know what I’m gonna post for SHF #9 :)

Dan ternyata, yang namanya Raspberry itu adalah Arbei yang pohonnya banyak di daerah Puncak itu loh. Banyak juga dijualin pedagang keliling kalo kita jalan-jalan ke daerah Puncak, Selabintana, Bogor, Lembang. Woooo, jadi Arbei itu sama toh dengan Raspberry!! Hihihi…

Raspberry atawa Arbei ini lumayan uaasemmmm! Kalo blackberry lebih banyak manisnya. Dan yang paling penting, tampangnya berry-berry-an ini cantik banget untuk garnish. I’m so happy!

Oya, hampir lupa, aku belinya di Ranch Market Buncit.

    local raspberry emangnya ada?ga perna liat di supermarket..beli di supermarket mana tuch..??biasanya susah bgt adanya..ada jg mahall bgt ga sanggup ^^ trus mo nanya jg..biasa beli bhn n alat kue dimana ya?

    Local raspberry? Mean native to Indonesia or South East Asia..Hmm never seen it before grown wild here. Maybe at higher attitude.

    aku dari kecil dah makan looh blueberry itu..
    malah dah gede baru tau kl itu namanya blueberry, secaraa gedenya dikampung.. hehee..

    dit4ku (originally from sumba, NTT) buanyaak bgt blueberry n jatohnya kaya tanaman liar.. :)
