Guilty Pleasure

The photos speak more than the words could even describe, I hope. The sinful treats. The skeleton in our closets. The deep dark secret we keep, in which each one of us indulges ourselves to the core from time to time. Better than sex, better than p**n :)
 
The french macaroons were in pistachio, blueberry, strawberry, rose and cappucino flavors. Yes, they’re sweet. Even too sweet for some people. But the meringue must have that much amount of sugar to hold its pretty round shape. And they had lots of ground almond, which made them a divine delight melting in your mouth good. Got them from Bakerzin, the desserts paradise, one of my happiest places ever exist.
 
Chunky Silver Queen

 
This chunky chocolate bar is the younger sister of its predecessor; Silver Queen, one of the classic treat very popular in Indonesia. The title says just about it; Chunky. The same chocolate, only, well, chunky as can be. The dark one is predictably my favorite, although I will melt to the offer of the milk one anyway. As long as it’s Silver Queen family, I’ll cave in.

Now, what can we say about Nutella, really. I mean, it’s the consensus of the world that the thing is like the chocolate goddess herself, appear in such form that caresses your tongue, fills your mouth and mind with joy. Even makes you dizzy with addiction, like falling in love all over again. God bless Ferrero.

Time to enjoy the hard-earned money and let ourselves go. Far, far away from everything that blunts our palates from the magical realm of good sweet treats, sinful pleasure. Simple things that put the smiles on our faces and in our minds. They’re sweet, they’re pretty, they’re intoxicating. Eat them.

    Kayak ngeliat iklan2 dari majalah. Ngomong2 ttg Nutella, minggu depan lagi discount di tempatku. Botol yg guede banget (750g) harganya cuma +/- 30 ribu! Nyam…nyam…nyam…

    waaah…. camilan dari jadul neh, sekarang jarang beli abisnya Abit kalo coklat gak seneng yang ada kacangnya, jadi emaknya jarang beli.
    soale critanya khan ngebeliin anak ntar emaknya minta barang 2 potong deh. kalo beli buat emaknya ajah nyang ada endut deh hueeheheheee…. kudu pake strategi pan.

    Mbak Riana, I do love macarons too!! I think one of singaporean blog’s made me wanna try it sooo badly. I’ve tried the Bakerzin, I like the pistachio better than the ispahan (it tasted wierd)..Don’t know where else I could get macarons beside at Bakerzin just to compare the taste. Meanwhile, making macarons it self, it’s like a pain in the a**…Arrrgghh not even close getting the ‘feet’..no wonder it’s so expensive!! Again, it’s a lovely lovely photo shoot! I think you should make a cook book! Definitely! And Nutella..yes,I agree, my all time favorites..God Bless Ferrero!!!

    Saya tinggal di negara asalnya si Nut Nut ini…anak saya hampir tiap pagi belepotan Nutella kalau sarapan.

    Tasted macaroon when I was in Lyon.. cost me an arm and leg but i was happy.
    Wah, coba saya jadi anaknya :)

    Mba Ri, foto2nya inspirasional banget, maksa banget buat ke PI siang ini dan beli (hanya) 2 macaroon. Sengaja disayang2, nunggu moment yg pas buat nikmatinnya (sendirian)di rumah. Too bad…2 macaroon tersayang akhirnya penyek2 dan ‘lepek’ ketumpahan botol yogurt yg meletup karena tertimpa segala macem benda inside my bagpack..     Bakerzin. Desserts mereka emang keren abis. Sepertinya Daniel Tay, owner sekaligus terinfluenced ama Pierre Herme. Abis banyak banget dessert yang mereka jual yang persis sama dengan PH. kayak ISPAHAN,Sweet Pleasure (Plaisir Sucre), including French macaroon nya yang emang identik banget ama PH. oia, main2 ya mba riana ke foodblog aku. masih baru bgt. fotonya masih jelek he.he. pokoknya masih biasa bgt. but i’m happy.
